Antique Tekke Turkmen chuval face of scarce format with aina chuval guls to the face and diamond Aina guls to the elem panel. 

Circa 1880 or earlier. 

An excellent Tekke Turkmen chuval face of very fine weave and scarce design. The main field is filled with 36 aina guls of the chuval gul format; the elem has 18 guls of the diamond design. The main border is also found on Yomut Turkmen weavings. Good condition with even wear and medium / low pile.
