Antique Jaf Kurd bag face of diamond lattice design with good clear colours and an attractive striped plain weave back. 

Circa 1880. 

The bag face is well drawn with a hooked medallion lattice surrounded by a floral rosette border. The bag face retains the closing lappets at the top and a decorative embroidered panel where the back joins the face. The bag face is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile the wool is very soft and the bag face has a floppy handle. The bag face has been hand washed and is ready for display.
