Old Afghan village rug of traditional Turkmen design the rug is a rich red colour.

 Circa 1920. 

The rug is in good condition with very slight wear and good pile. Very fine weave with soft wool hand spun ivory wool warps. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
