Antique Caucasian Gendje Kazak long rug with stripe & boteh design. 

Circa 1880. 

A good example of a Gendje long rug multi coloured stripes filled with boteh and an angular vine. The soft colours give the rug a light feel. The light indigo blue border frames the rug well. The rug is in excellent good with even wear and medium / low pile there are a few scattered old re-piled areas. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
