Vintage Persian Tabriz carpet of traditional all over design in a large room size. 

Circa 1930. 

A very good furnishing Tabriz carpet with a traditional all over floral design. The carpet has a good ruby red ground covered with all over floral spray. The soft butterscotch coloured border is filled with a linked floral design. The carpet is signed in a cartouche at the top end Javan Amir-Khis Tabriz this is one of the best known and highest quality workshops making Tabriz carpets during the first half of the 20th century. The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use such as a dining room or a living room. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
