Antique South Caucasian Moghan Kazak runner with Memling guls within octagons. 

Circa 1890. 

A superb Moghan Kazak runner with two vertical rows of Memling guls within multi coloured octagons. The rug has a one of the less common border designs on an ivory ground. The light blue in the guard borders at the lower end adds to the visual interest. Excellent condition with slight even wear with good pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display. The runner is suitable for normal domestic use.
