Old Afghan rug of traditional Tekke Turkmen design the rug is a clear red colour. 

Circa 1920. 

The rug is of the classic Tekke Turkmen gul design with three rows of five Tekke guls. The rug has multiple borders and elem panels at each end. The rug retains its original end finishes at both ends. The rug is in good condition with very slight wear and good pile. There is slight wear to the corner end finish (this is reflected in the price). The rug is suitable for normal domestic use and is a very useful small size furnishing rug. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
