Antique Kurdish kelleh carpet or large runner with all over boteh design. 

Circa 1900. 

The carpet has a all over floral boteh design on a dark indigo blue ground the boteh are beautifully drawn with small flowering shrubs inside each boteh. The multiple floral borders frame the carpet well and give it a light feel. This is a superb carpet that would grace any country house. The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
