Antique Caucasian Moghan Kazak rug with a vertical row of 6 octagons on a soft red ground. 

2nd half 19th century. 

The rug has many small filler elements to the field design and excellent traditional Moghan region border designs. The rug is in excellent condition with slight wear and good pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
