Antique Caucasian Lampa-Karabagh long rug with repeat medallion design.

An interesting rug belonging to a well known group of Karabagh rugs with large floral medallions. This example is particularly striking with the medallions in a rich pink / red on a midnight indigo blue ground. The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good thick pile. The rug retains the original braided end finishes at both ends. The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display. A good strong rug suitable for normal domestic use.
