Old Afghan village rug of traditional design with large guls the rug is of a warm red colour with dark indigo blue. The rug has very glossy wool as can be seen in the images. 

Circa 1940. 

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall or living room. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
