Antique North West Persian Sarab runner with a camel wool ground. 

Circa 1880. 

The runner is of classic design with four small ivory ground medallions containing a floral design these are on a camel ground covered with a fine floral lattice in very soft light indigo blue. The border is of a repeat box design. The overall colour palette gives a warm and earthy feel the outer part of the runner is in plain soft brown camel wool. The runner is in excellent condition with even wear and medium / low pile. There are one or two scattered old repairs which are very well blended into the runner. The runner is suitable for normal domestic use. The runner has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
