Hand made antique saddle bag carpet cushion, the cushion is half of a saddle bag by the Qashqai tribe of southwest Persia, circa 1880.

The back is the original back of the saddle bag with interesting tribal designs.

The the saddle bag was already filled as a cushion when we acquired it, so we are unable to say what the filler is, but it is soft and could be feather down. The cushion is plump and well filled.
