This hand knotted Turkish rug is very well made and a good copy of a 19th century Caucasian Shirvan Afshan rug. The colours used are faithful to the original design. The weave is extremely fine with very good wool. An excellent furnishing rug suitable for normal domestic use. The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
