Antique Turkish Oushak carpet of outstanding colour with a small medallion design.

A truly outstanding late 19th century Oushak carpet, the traditional small medallion design is on a very soft warm red ground, the design in soft pastel colours blends well giving an all over gentle feel to the carpet. The carpet has a beautifully drawn border on a medium blue ground that contrasts very well with the soft field colour.

The carpet is in good condition with good pile.

The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.

A wonderful antique carpet of very large size that would grace the finest country house.
