Antique Caucasian Shirvan rug with 'Surahani' garden design from the late 19th century. A good example of a Shirvan rug, with the sought after garden design often associated with the Konagkend or Kuba region of the Eastern Caucasus. The rug has a classic 'wine glass and leaf' border on an ivory ground.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug has been hand washed and is suitable for normal domestic use or display.
