Persian Tafresh village rug
Product tabs
A good example of a North West Persian Tafresh village rug from the Greater Hamadan Region.
The rug is of the traditional medallion design associated with Tafresh village with an undyed ivory wool ground, small flecks of wool from black and brown sheep can be found as well.
The rug has a well-drawn floral design and very pleasing soft colour, note the small birds drawn within the design, I have managed to find 21 so far, there may be more.
The rug is in outstanding condition with almost no wear and full pile. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display
