Old Yomut Turkmen childs rug or cradle cover these rugs are known as salatch. 

Circa 1930. 

An unusual six sided rug of small size of prayer rug form with a mihrab at the top. Note the original tassels at both ends of the rug. I understand that these rugs were not used for prayer but as covers for young children whilst in the cradle. Excellent condition with very slight wear and full pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display.
