Old South West Persian tribal rug, Shiraz region, probably by settled weavers from the Khamseh tribe.

A good small rug with triple linked medallion design, the field is filled with large peacocks, chickens and other tribal designs.

Fair condition with even wear heavier in a few places, and medium to low pile.

Hand washed and ready for use.

An excellent furnishing rug suitable for normal domestic use.
