This carpet is of very fine weave with tight fine pile of lambs wool on a cotton foundation. The carpet has a velvet like feel.

The carpet has a floral design around a central medallion and has amazing detail, it is an excellent example of type. This is a carpet of high quality that would grace any room. The colours are superb, with a red ground with the design in beautiful clear colours. The deep indigo border contrasts well with the red ground.

The carpet is in excellent condition with no wear and full pile, this carpet is probably unused. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use. Hand washed and is ready for use or display.
