Old Baluch rug from Western Afghanistan / Eastern Persia. A Baluch rug with good colour, flowers and animals.

Circa 1920.

A pleasing Baluch rug with a diamond lattice design to the field, each diamond contains a small animal or a large flower. The border is of a classic Baluch design.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The rug has very good wool and also retains the original kilim at both ends with some embroidered decoration.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
