Old Afghan village rug of traditional Turkmen style design with Tekke guls.

The rug has a soft madder red colour even looking slightly faded in places with three rows of seven large Tekke guls. The border is the Turkmen sunburst design.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for heavy domestic use such as an entrance hall or living room.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.

The very slight fading and slightly irregular shape which some will find adds to the charm, is reflected in the price of this rug.
