Old Afghan Village Rug Of Traditional Ersari Kizil Ayak Design
Product tabs
Old Afghan village rug of traditional Ersari Kizil Ayak design with two rows of eight large guls, the rug is of a pleasing deep red colour with dark indigo blue and ivory. The wool has a wonderful lustre and is very soft.
The rug is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and full pile. The rug retains the original kilim end finishes at both ends. At some time in the rugs life the end has been folded under and glued, there are old remains of dried glue to the back ends. This could possibly be removed, but this defect is reflected in the price of the rug.
The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
