Old Afghan prayer rug of traditional village mosque design, probably Kizil Ayak Turkmen.

The rug is of interesting mosque design showing both internal and external views of a mosque. This is a rug woven with very soft wool and a subtle colour palette.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile.

The rug retains the original kilim end finishes and tassels.

The rug is suitable for light domestic use and is suitable for wall hanging.
