Old Afghan Baluch camel ground prayer rug with tree of life of a size suitable for a child.

Circa 1920.

The rug is beautifully drawn with a simple tree of life and has excellent colour, the camel wool ground is very soft. The rug has three borders each with a different design. Very small prayer rugs like this were woven for young boys, and are very scarce.

The rug is in excellent condition with very slight wear and almost full pile.

The rug has been hand washed and ready for use or display. The rug has a soft handle.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use of would make a superb wall hanging.
