Antique Yomut Turkmen kap or bag face from a small storage bag complete with closing loops at the top. 

Circa 1900. 

This small Yomut Turkmen bag known as a kap or small bag was used for keeping personal belongings in it was usually hung up inside the yurt. This example is of a stripe design with rams horns to the elem panel at the base. Note the original closing loops at the top. At sometime in the bags history the plain weave back has been removed. The bag face is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.
