Antique west Anatolian rug from the village of Mihalicik in the region close to Eskisehir and Ankara.
The rug has a very rich red ground colour to the central field, there is a large carnation flower at each end of the field along with two central columns and many floral rosettes. The corners are in ivory and filled with more floral rosettes. An attractive and colourful small village rug.
The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile.
The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
