Antique Turkmen dali Kilim of very fine weave.

This is a scarce example of a fine Turkmen kilim known as dali this translates to fabric or cloth. Older examples such as this have very fine weave are paper thin and have a muted soft colour palette; later examples are of coarser weave with much heavier weight and bright clear colours. Woven on a simple narrow loom these kilims are usually narrow in width and of long length. These would make a great cover for furniture or a throw to go over a bed. Excellent condition very slight wear.
