Antique Eastern Anatolian Kurdish Yuruk rug of rustic design with outstanding colour. 

Circa 1900. 

An excellent example of a small Yuruk rug with bold rustic design and good dye colours that give the rug a warm feel. The wool is soft giving the rug a floppy handle. Superb condition with even wear and good pile. The rug has a few scattered old repairs and the selvedge's have been re-bound. The rug is slightly mis-shaped as is typical with rugs from this region. A good collectors rug that will make an excellent display item. Hand washed and ready for use or display.
