Antique Turkish Ottoman Ladik prayer rug a superb early example in original condition. 

Circa 1800. 

This is a beautifully drawn early rug with superb colour the drawing of the border is outstanding. The field is in a clear red with indigo blue above; at the top are a row of tulip flowers. The rug is in fair condition with wear and medium / low pile there are some damages and losses as can be seen to the sides and ends. There are some old historic repairs. A beautiful display item which retains wonderful colour.
