Well drawn with excellent traditional banded design with good colour. Malatya kilims have a firm weave making them very durable the embroidered technique is known as cicim. The kilim is of an ideal size and shape for use as a runner. Very good condition slight wear. Suitable for normal domestic use. As is normal with this type of village made runner the shape is not uniform this adds to the character of the runner. Hand washed and ready for use or display.
