The rug is of a traditional design associated with these small rugs they are considered to be dowry weavings. This example is well drawn with good colour and fine weave. This example is almost square in size it has fine weave and a rustic feel. The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use.
