Antique Tekke Turkmen rug of small size, with fine weave, superb Cochineal colour.

This is a good example of a Tekke rug with Salor turreted guls, this rug has 2 rows of 7 guls with a very well drawn Salor minor gul. The colour palette is very pleasing with a rich Cochineal purple/red field and highlights in indigo blue and ivory.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and medium pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
