Antique Tekke Turkmen main carpet with 5 rows of 15 guls. 

Late 19th century. 

A good Tekke main carpet of small square size the madder red field has well drawn Tekke guls. The border is of the sunburst design. The carpet is in good condition with even wear with medium pile. There are one or two spots of heavier wear. Both ends retain the original large elem panel end finishes. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
