Antique Tekke Turkmen main carpet with 4 rows of 13 Tekke guls. 

Circa 1900. 

The carpet has a good madder red ground colour the design is traditional Tekke Turkmen with rows of large guls with minor guls. The border is of the Turkmen octagon and sunburst design. The carpet retains the large elem panels at each end. The carpet is of a very useful small size. The carpet is in excellent condition with even wear with medium pile. The carpet is suitable for normal domestic use. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use.
