Antique Tekke Turkmen khorjin (saddle bag) of very small size, Southern Turkmenistan.

Complete khorjin of this quality are quite scarce, this example is in outstanding condition and benefits from a beautifully decorated central panel. The bags are complete with undyed ivory plain weave backs.

Excellent condition with very slight wear. There are slight signs of use to the corners and two very small old repairs also to the corners. There are a few small usage stains to the backs.

This item has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
