A very attractive rug by the Kashkuli sub tribe of the Qashqai tribe of South West Persia with a floral design and an unusual bird border. The rug has a dark indigo field with a small central medallion containing the Qashqai emblem. The field is covered in a floral spray design with the corners in a madder red. A feature of the rug is the classic Kashkuli bird and flower border. This is a very good decorative Kashkuli rug.

The rug has even wear with good pile. Hand washed and suitable for normal domestic use or a superb collectible display item.
