Antique South West Persian Kashkuli Qashqai rug with all over small floral design, circa 1900. A very attractive rug by the Kashkuli sub tribe of the Qashqai. The rug has a madder red field with a indigo blue outer field. The field is covered in a floral design with multiple flowering shrubs, the corners have a box design in ivory and green. A feature of the rug is the borders in wonderful shades of yellow, blue and ivory. This is a very good decorative Kashkuli rug.

The rug has even wear with good pile. The rug is of large size and will make a superb furnishing statement in any room. Hand washed and suitable for normal domestic use or display.
