Antique Persian Kork Kashan rug of traditional large medallion design. This is a very finely woven rug from the workshops of Kashan, the rug is made using 'Kork' wool, this is the finest lambs wool. The rug has a classic Kashan single medallion design, woven in a range of outstanding colours. The sides of the rug are bound in crimson/purple silk.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear in places and medium pile. Hand washed and suitable for normal domestic use or display. A beautiful antique rug that would grace any room and sit alongside the finest antique furniture.
