Antique Baluch rug by the Mahdad Khani tribe of the Khorassan region of Eastern Persia.

 Circa 1900. 

A good Baluch rug with one of the less common designs a single row of 6 large Tekke Turkmen guls. The border is a well drawn version of the Baluch boat border. The rug is in good condition with even wear medium pile very soft wool. Hand washed and ready for use or display. The rug would be suitable for normal domestic use.
