Antique Kurdish rug with colourful shrub design.

This rug is an outstanding example of Kurdish weaving the colourful shrub design stands out against the midnight blue ground. The wide ivory ground border is filled with with a large scale Caucasian design. The rug is thick and heavy with long glossy pile and has the feel of a Kazak rug. The rug is in superb condition with very slight even wear and good thick long pile. Hand washed and ready for use or display the rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
