Antique Persian Hamadan region runner of good long size with traditional herati design. 

Circa 1900. 

The runner has excellent colour with a deep indigo blue field the large scale herati design stands out well. The border in a lighter indigo blue frames the runner well. This is a superb runner of large size. The runner is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and almost full pile. The runner has been hand washed and ready for use or display. The runner is suitable for heavy domestic floor use.
