Antique South West Persian Kashkuli Qashqai rug with all over small floral herati design. 

Circa 1900. 

A very attractive rug by the Kashkuli sub tribe of the Qashqai. The rug has a madder red field with a indigo blue to the corners of the field. The field is covered in a floral herati design with multiple flowering shrubs. The rug has a classic Kashkuli border on a brown ground flanked on either side with an ivory guard stripe. This is a very good decorative Kashkuli rug. The rug has very slight wear with good pile with soft wool note the original checker board finishes at both ends. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
