Antique Isfahan rug with small medallion design on an ivory ground. 

Circa 1920. 

The rug is of a fine weave with lambs wool pile on a fine cotton foundation the rug has a floral design to the field the rug has an overall warm colour palette with a light blue to the corner design. The ivory highlights throughout the rug are in silk. The border is of a classic design and very well drawn. The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and good pile there are a few finger tip size spots of heavier wear and some age related corrosion. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use such as a bedroom or living room. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use.
