An antique Persian Heriz carpet with a traditional medallion design and burgundy red field colour with ivory spandrels. The rug has a classic dark indigo blue border that is very well drawn. The central medallion in dark indigo blue contrasts well with the field.

The Carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile. This is a very good furnishing Heriz carpet. The carpet has been hand washed and is suitable for heavy domestic use.
