This small size soumak is of the classic three medallion format surrounded by eight yellow octagons. The soumak has superb colour and includes a soft green that is found in the earliest examples.

The soumak is in excellent condition with slight wear and a few scattered old repairs. The original braided end finishes are retained at both ends. The soumak has been hand washed and is suitable for light domestic use or display.
