Antique Caucasian Karachov Kazak rug of classic design on a green ground.

A good example of a Karachov Kazak rug with the traditional large octagonal central medallion design. The central medallion is on an ivory ground, the four corners contain the square and star design. Note the many tribal filler items in the field. The rug is of the sought after green ground, this is abrashed with darker green used in the upper part of the rug. The border is of a classic design and the orange ground compliments the green field colour well.

The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and good pile.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
