Antique Caucasian Gendje Kazak long rug with diagonal stripe design. 

Circa 1890. 

A good example of a Gendje long rug multi coloured stripes in greens blues reds and yellow containing an interesting design of flowers birds heads and rams horns. The rug is framed by a classic but simple floral rosette border. The rug is in excellent condition with even wear and medium pile there is some corrosion to the blacks and a few old re-weaves. The rug is suitable for normal domestic use. The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
