Antique Caucasian Derbent rug of single medallion design.

The rug has a single medallion that is in an indigo blue colour, these stand out well against the soft faded madder red field. The rug is framed by a classic S design border.

The rug is in fair condition with slight wear and good pile, the rug is very soft and floppy and has old hanging rings attached to the back. The rug has a large old repair to the centre of the medallion, for this reason the rug is being sold as seen at a heavily discounted price.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.

The rug has been hand washed and is ready for use or display.
