Size: 4ft 4in x 3ft 1in (132 x 94cm). Antique Baluch prayer rug of scarce form attributed to the Baluch of Turkestan by Craycraft. Circa 1880. A scarce and colourful Baluch rug the central panel is of the well known tile design. Other design elements are found in Afghan Sistan Baluch Seh (Three) Mihrab prayer rugs. The rug is in good condition with even wear and good pile with soft glossy wool. The rug retains it original kilim ends with weft work decoration. The rug is ready for use or display. The rug is suitable for light domestic use. Stock Number: D-0512.
